Happy First Day of Spring! Inspring Women! Let's "Scatter Joy."

Happy First Day of Spring!  “Scatter joy!” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson.

I was just on facebook (I mainly use it for my jewelry creations these days. Trying to keep up with nearly 400 people is just impossible. But, I don't need to tell you that). With that said, I do really love to see friends' photos and link up with new people.

I also really enjoy reading a new story I may have missed had I not logged on. I enjoy Elephant Journal's page. Came across this wonderful feature called "Girls with Messy Hair and Thirsty Hearts."  by Janne Robinson. Beautiful photo's of women looking strong and free. What a better way to start the weekend. The write up goes back to Ms. Robinson's wonderful article"I Will Always Be a Wild Thang."

After reading her article I just want to go skinny dipping in the sea (when it's warmer) & run barefoot in the sand. It's the kind of article that reminds me to always speak my mind. I have met my fare share of very judgmental women (who I try to stay away from/let go of negativity). Features like this remind me to stay strong to my beliefs. Seek out like minded supportive women friends. Be good to my inner goddess and child and be brave in the face of new challenges. I'm so happy I checked facebook today. A lot of my jewelry has a fun, beachy, free spirited feel. For the strong woman, (who is every woman), for the woman who isn't afraid to be free!

Be free, be strong, and above all else, be sparkly. ~Marissa T.
